Americana Hearts & Stars Runner

My original design from 2001...recreated here in an Americana version. I hand hook in the traditional manner using 100% wool fabric strips on a linen foundation. This runner was hooked with 100% new wool, hand-dyed with my original recipes of Schoolhouse Red, Indigo and Dirty White. I professionally finish my rugs by binding them with my durable, hand-dyed rug yarn and sewing on cotton twill tape. The twill tape on this runner is a fun replica of an antique measuring tape...I’ve include a picture below of some of my other Americana creations to show the detail of the twill tape.

Measuring 13 ½” x 31 ½” this generous sized hooked runner is sure to delight any Primitive or Americana lover! Perfect for hearth or your 4th of July holiday table.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with my work...I’ve been dyeing wool and hooking for over 30 years. My rugs are part of private collections across the country. I rarely list my rugs, but as time permits hope to offer more here. This heirloom quality rug will come to you signed and dated.

Reminiscent of olde childhood valentines...
My original design pin keep is hand stitched with 100% new wool and hand-dyed cotton threads. I’ve overdyed the wool with my original dye recipes. It’s a plump, little pin keep...a cotton muslin liner is stuffed with crushed English walnut shells to keep your pins and needles sharp!
Measuring approximately 5 ¼” x 5” x 1 ¾”, this pin keep is sure to delight any stitcher or primitive lover!

Primitive Angel Pin ~ Old Blue Paint

An adaptation of one of my hooked rug designs...now offered as a punch needle embroidery pin. This 3 1/4” x 1 3/8” pin was punched with hand dyed cotton embroidery floss on weaver’s cloth. I’ve backed the pin with a coordinating piece of my hand dyed wool. The pin is signed and dated
