These are absolutley gorgeous!

I never really know if it's just me...or the blustery, bitter cold here in January...but somehow the wools that arrive this time of year are the loveliest of all! ~L

Looking back over 2009...

What an exciting year it has been...

I was honored to have been chosen for this year's EAL directory...A Christmas Goose...pictured above was chosen to be photographed for inclusion in the holiday issue!

and being the featured destination in the October Issue of
The Wool Street Journal was another true honor!

Stay tuned...lots of fun things are in the works for 2010...too!

November 2009

Okay...How did it get to be November??? Perhaps I'm in nesting phase...but it seems more like Spring cleaning around here.

In the midst of a hectic week, touring potential high schools for next year...and groups and classes at the studio...I got the wild idea to re-do the graphics here on the website. Gee...I have a lot of pages...Yes, at times I AM my own worst enemy!

And to top it off my husband started really digging in the nooks and crannies of our tiny house. Did I tell ever tell you I live with 2 pack rats? Well I love my boys...but how many Christmas CD's do we really need...let alone duplicates?

And in all honesty...I have plenty to cull thru to lighten my load too!

So I hope you'll visit the new Attic Treasures section here on the website...
and check back often as I will be adding things frequently!

The forecast is for snow in the coming week...we had some in September...but this November has been very mild...a bit of snow may be just what I need to get in the holiday groove...
Where ever you are...I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season!!!

July 2009

Happy Summer...lots has been happening at the WRR this summer! A couple days ago all this gorgeous wool arrived!!! It's on site already click here to see these beautiful textures!
Several exciting oppurtunities are just around the corner for me...

The Wooly Red Rug is going to be the feature...Anywhere USA in the October 2009 issue of The Wool Street!

Just got the call this week...and waiting for more details, but...my work has been chosen for the Early American Life's Holiday Directory of Traditional Craftsman! My Christmas Goose is off being photograhed in some historic location! I'll let you know more, when I do...but look for this in the Christmas 2009 issue!

and if that's not enough...

I was contacted by the new editor of RHM to submit a pattern for their centerfold in an issue in 2010!

I'm so thankful for these oppurtunites to share my love of pulling loops with the world!
