Located in the beautiful Tangletown neighborhood of southwest Minneapolis, at 4750 Grand Avenue South. Just WEST of Interstate 35W, EAST of scenic Lake Harriet, SOUTH of 46th Street and in the NORTHERN shadows of the historic Washburn water tower.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION MADNESS...
If you are coming SOUTH on 35W the 46th Street Exit is still open...take this exit and turn RIGHT on 46th Street...Grand Avenue is the first 4-Way STOP sign...turn LEFT and go 1 ¾ blocks to 4750 Grand...on the west (right) side of street.
If you are coming NORTH on 35W...take the DIAMOND LAKE ROAD (54th Street) Exit. Turn LEFT and go to NICOLLET AVENUE (stoplight)...Turn RIGHT and go to 48th Street (stoplight)...Turn LEFT and go to GRAND AVENUE (5 blocks)...Turn RIGHT and you will be across the street from The Wooly Red Rug
"The Rug" is open by chance on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between
11 a.m. and 4 p.m. OR other times by appointment...call the studio at 612-824-1131.
